Thanksgiving Meals Distributed to Student Families at SEED School of Miami
MIAMI LAKES, Fla. (2021miami.com) – The College Football Playoff (CFP) Foundation and the 2021 Miami Host Committee partnered with the Ed Reed Foundation to give Thanksgiving meals to student families at the SEED School of Miami. The donation is part of the Ed Reed Foundation’s “Thanksgiving Blessings” program, which has been giving Thanksgiving meals to students’ families in Baltimore for the last 10 years. This marks the first year the program will expand to Miami.
A total of 150 turkeys and Thanksgiving meals were distributed to families of SEED School students and staff, in addition to care packages that will include other holiday goodies and Extra Yard for Teachers program T-shirts. The effort is part of the 2021 Miami Host Committee’s ongoing efforts to support South Florida families, students, and athletes through positive community programming and events.

The Host Committee for the 2021 College Football Playoff (CFP) National Championship is a collaborative effort of the entire community, South Florida municipalities, visitors’ bureaus, the Miami Dolphins, Hard Rock Stadium and led by the Orange Bowl Committee, which previously has hosted 20 college football national championships in its 87 years of existence.
